Slug Rid is a pellet bait that is ideal for killing slugs & snails. Being fast-acting, making the slugs cease to feed immediately after consuming the pellets. Once ingested, slugs slowly move away from plants without leaving a trace. Coming in a 500g Pack, it treats up to a 100m² area.
Evenly scatter the pellets on to moist, bare soil around all edible and non-edible plants (e.g. hostas, bedding plants, strawberries, lettuce and cabbages, etc) at 5g per square metre.

DELIVERY INFORMATION
Fitzpatrick Fuels offer a local delivery service, which covers Huddersfield, and some of the surrounding areas.
Our minimum order for local delivery is £100, and we deliver free to most Huddersfield postcodes. If your delivery address is outside of our local delivery area, please call our team on 01484 653 768 for a delivery quote.
Local deliveries will be carried out in our own vehicles, by our friendly and helpful team. Our vehicles also have crane-off facilities to easily unload bulk bags and crates of firewood.
On our website, you can order any product, in whatever quantities that you like. Once your order has been processed, the team at Fitzpatrick Fuels will build your customised pallet, with the products in the quantities that you ordered.
We aim to deliver to you as quickly as possible. However, during the winter period, please allow for a 3 - 10 day delivery period to avoid disappointment.
You will be notified of a delivery date once you have placed your order. In the unusual event that your delivery date needs to be changed, you will be informed promptly. You can expect your delivery between 8:00 - 18:00.
Please note that we cannot give you a time to expect your delivery. If you call us on the morning of your delivery, we can give you an estimated time frame.
It is not necessary that you are home when we deliver, and if that is the case, you must advise us accordingly as to where to leave the product. We cannot be held responsible in the event of any loss or damage if you instruct us to leave the goods in your absence. We will endeavour to deliver the goods where instructed, please note, heavy items such as crates of logs and bulk bags will be offloaded via a crane and will be left adjacent to the vehicle.
As a general rule, all of our deliveries will be made by the roadside. However, if we can make the delivery easier for you by dropping the goods in a specific place on your land, we will try our best to accommodate. If we bring our vehicle onto your property, as per your instruction, we cannot be held liable for any damage.
If you live in an area with difficult access, you need to inform us prior to your delivery date so we can ensure to use the right transportation. If any of the below refers to your delivery address, please inform us:

NATIONAL DELIVERY
At this time, we no longer offer nationwide delivery through our website. The cost to deliver via third party transport companies has increased drastically, and fuel surcharges are changing weekly.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days to arrange a refund. It is the customer's responsibility to return the order of goods and we will refund you the cost of the product order within 30 days. We are unable to refund you for the cost of return.

Description
A ready-to-use bait, Slug Rid controls slugs and snails around all edible and ornamental plants.
Containing ferric phosphate, simply spread around plants at the first sign of damage.
Slug Rid:

Suitable for organic gardening, Slug Rid should be used during late evening or early morning when slugs are most active.
Evenly scatter the pellets on to moist, bare soil around plants such as strawberries, hostas, bedding plants, lettuces and cabbages.
Once laid, Slug Rid pellets will swell, absorbing water from moist soil which will attract slugs. After eating, slugs and snails will move away to die.

WHEN TO USE:
At the first sign of plant damage use as directed during late evening or early morning when slugs are most active.
WHERE AND HOW TO USE:
Evenly scatter the pellets to moist, bare soil around all edible and non-edible plants (eg hostas, bedding plants, strawberries, lettuce and cabbages, etc) at 5g per square metre.
Repeat treatment may be necessary to maintain control to a maximum of 4 treatments at 5g per square metre, per crop. The pellets swell, absorbing water from moist soil, becoming more attractive to slugs. After consuming the pellets, slugs cease to feed, moving away to die without leaving a trace.

Storage and Disposal
- Dispose of contents/container as hazardous waste at a household waste recycling centre except for empty containers which can be disposed of by recycling. Contact your local council for details.
- Do not empty into drains. Do not contaminate water with the product or its container.
- KEEP PRODUCT IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER, tightly closed in a safe place.
- KEEP AWAY FROM FOOD AND DRINK.
- Re-use of empty packaging is prohibited.
