Our Plum Slate features soft purple, plum and blue tones, when dry they are a dusky shade, but when wet they become vibrant and distinct. Slate is a naturally quarried product and because of this you can expect variations in size, colour and shape, which helps to add texture and detail wherever it is placed.
Plum Slate aids in moisture retention in soil, keeps weeds at bay and lays flat making it great to walk on. All of these features make it ideal for pathways, gardening and landscaping projects, plant pot topping, rockeries, and ground cover.
We supply this slate in 20kg bags and bulk bags, with a size grading of 20mm and 40mm options. Which we deliver locally, using crane-backed trucks to help our customer get their slate where they need it to be. DELIVERY INFORMATION
Fitzpatrick Fuels offer a local delivery service, which covers Huddersfield, and some of the surrounding areas.
Our minimum order for local delivery is £100, and we deliver free to most Huddersfield postcodes. If your delivery address is outside of our local delivery area, please call our team on 01484 653 768 for a delivery quote.
Local deliveries will be carried out in our own vehicles, by our friendly and helpful team. Our vehicles also have crane-off facilities to easily unload bulk bags and crates of firewood.
On our website, you can order any product, in whatever quantities that you like. Once your order has been processed, the team at Fitzpatrick Fuels will build your customised pallet, with the products in the quantities that you ordered.
We aim to deliver to you as quickly as possible. However, during the winter period, please allow for a 3 - 10 day delivery period to avoid disappointment.
You will be notified of a delivery date once you have placed your order. In the unusual event that your delivery date needs to be changed, you will be informed promptly. You can expect your delivery between 8:00 - 18:00.
Please note that we cannot give you a time to expect your delivery. If you call us on the morning of your delivery, we can give you an estimated time frame.
It is not necessary that you are home when we deliver, and if that is the case, you must advise us accordingly as to where to leave the product. We cannot be held responsible in the event of any loss or damage if you instruct us to leave the goods in your absence. We will endeavour to deliver the goods where instructed, please note, heavy items such as crates of logs and bulk bags will be offloaded via a crane and will be left adjacent to the vehicle.
As a general rule, all of our deliveries will be made by the roadside. However, if we can make the delivery easier for you by dropping the goods in a specific place on your land, we will try our best to accommodate. If we bring our vehicle onto your property, as per your instruction, we cannot be held liable for any damage.
If you live in an area with difficult access, you need to inform us prior to your delivery date so we can ensure to use the right transportation. If any of the below refers to your delivery address, please inform us:

NATIONAL DELIVERY
At this time, we no longer offer nationwide delivery through our website. The cost to deliver via third party transport companies has increased drastically, and fuel surcharges are changing weekly.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days to arrange a refund. It is the customer's responsibility to return the order of goods and we will refund you the cost of the product order within 30 days. We are unable to refund you for the cost of return.

Description
Decorative aggregates are natural products sourced from quarries throughout the country. As with all natural products, there will be variances on size, colour and shape. Aggregates are not a uniform product, and although graded to a size, there will be a range of sizes/shapes within this.
Our bulk aggregates come direct from the quarries and are not washed before hand. On first appearance, they may look a little dull in colour, their true appearance will come through once the stones have been rinsed through with water.
